Happy Fathers Day

I would like to recognize my husband on this day, for being the best father he can be for our daughter, Sibella. Parenthood has been a learning experience for us both, and he has shown nothing but continuous growth and love as a father. From fixing her hair with pride in the morning, to putting her to bed, he shows the main thing that our children need from us – lots of love and support. Not only does he show how much he loves her, he shows how much he loves me – her mom. Fathers play a vital role in showing love and support, and also by adding another approach and perspective in raising your children together. So, to all of you amazing fathers out there, keep it up!

Believe in Them

“My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he believed in me.” – Jim Valvano

Show Them What Love Looks Like

“The most important thing a father can d for his children is to love their mother.” – Theodore Hesburgh

Feed Their Imagination

“Dads are the most ordinary men turned by love into heroes, adventures, story tellers, and singers of song.” – Pam Brown

They Need Us

“As fathers, we need to be involved in our children’s lives not just when it’s convenient or easy, and not just when they’re doing well — but when it’s difficult and thankless, and they’re struggling. That is when they need us most.” – Barack Obama

Motivate Them

“My father used to say that it’s never too late to do anything you wanted to do. And he said, ‘You never know what you can accomplish until you try.” – Michael Jordan
